Celine Ayesha

Roles: Actor, Co-Stage Manager

 

Celine is a fifth-year Dramatic Arts major at Brock, who has been in two mainstage productions: she was the narrator (Sketchbook) in Scenes from an Execution by Howard Barker, which was Brock’s first live streamed production. She also played Jesus of Nazareth in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Guirgis. Celine is very passionate about performing and hopes to pursue it further after graduating.

Michael Cicchini

Roles: Production Manager, Set Designer

 

Michael is finishing his fourth year at Brock University. He has applied most of this theatre making skills in the role of a director, having directed a one act play in third year and provided assistant direction for Brock's fall Mainstage in his fourth year. This has made him familiar with a leadership position, but it is still his first time as a production manager and set designer.

Abby Etling

Roles: Actor, Social Media Manager, Choreographer

Performing ever since she could talk, Abby has made a home for herself in the realm of dramatic arts. Specializing in musical theatre for the past 12 years, she has been grateful to explore a variety of theatrical styles and the roles imbedded within them during her time at Brock University. She is also working towards a minor in psychology. Abby is excited to be working with Little Raincoat Collective as her final assignment for her undergraduate degree!

Asenia Lyall

Roles: Actor, Dramaturg

Asenia has been an enthusiastic theatre maker since high school where she wrote her first play, joined the stage crew, and acted in multiple productions. She recently completed an honours thesis about the insurgence of digital theatre over the course of the pandemic. Asenia has worked on four mainstages as an actor in Orlando and Red Bike, the dramaturg for Scenes from an Execution, and crew on Perdita.

Sammie Marett

Roles: Actor, Head of Graphics and Promotion

 

In her five years at Brock, Sammie has been working at pursuing her major in dramatic arts with a concentration in performance. She performed as “Supporta” in “Scenes From An Execution'' directed by David Fancy. Additionally, she has also played as “Saint Matthew” and “Pontius Pilate” in “The Last Days Of Judas Iscariot” directed by Leighton Alexander Williams. Sammie is ecstatic to be a part of the process with @littleraincoatcollective and is currently working as part of the social-media team.

Jonah Pace

Roles: Actor, Co-Stage Manager

 

Jonah Pace first performed at the age of 12 as a means of boosting his confidence. It later turned out to be a passion of his! Having previously graduated from the Theatre Arts program at Fanshawe College, Jonah is excited to be working with Little Raincoat Collective in his final year in DART. Jonah hopes to use his theatrical experience to help the next generation of learners, as he embarks on a future teaching career.

Alyssa Ruddock

Roles: Actor, Publicity Outreach Manager, Wardrobe/Props Assistant

Alyssa Ruddock is completing her fourth year in DART with a minor in WGST, with a split passion for performance and production. Being one of the DART student reps this year, Alyssa is passionate about advocacy in disability and neurodivergent representation & accessibility in theatre - thus leading to a passion for community outreach & involvement. Alyssa has worked on five Mainstage productions as SM, Actor (Henrietta Iscariot, LDJI), ASM, and crew throughout her time at Brock.  

Alex Sykes

Roles: Lighting Designer, Sound Designer, Photographer

 

Alex Sykes is a theatre maker from the Niagara region. As a student of the technical arts, he uses this equipment to create engaging and powerful environments and visuals for audiences to become immersed in. Throughout the process he aims to present and create joy with his peers as well as let this hint of optimism seep into his work in hopes of stimulating a better world through art.

Julian Valentin

Roles: Costume Designer, Head of Props

 

Julian has been working in wardrobe her entire career at Brock University. She’s done some role on every mainstage since 2019, from dresser, wardrobe assistant, assistant designer, head of wardrobe and now costume designer on Red Bike. Julian also works part time in the costume shop as a wardrobe assistant. Always the most extra in the room, she can’t wait for you to join us on this costuming adventure.
